Going Above and Beyond
August 2021
August 2021
At Fireplace, Pool, Spa, & Solar, we use a relatively simple process to design quality pools for our
customers. First, we determine what size of pool the customer wants. Second, we ask the customer
what kind of features they would like – such as waterfalls or slides. After this, we allow the customer
to decide whether they would like a chlorine pool or a saltwater pool. Since saltwater pools are
more beneficial for skin health and chlorine tablets are becoming harder to purchase, many people
are choosing our saltwater option or even having us convert their chlorine pool into saltwater.
When executing this relatively simple process, however, we go above and beyond to give our customers
the best experience and the best product possible. Here are three of the many ways our business
will serve our customers.
First, when designing and building, we are actively looking for ways to save our customers money.
If we see a building decision that can save money, we let the customer know and allow them to make
a decision. Why do we do this? Our first priority is the satisfaction and happiness of our customers.
Second, when servicing and cleaning our pools, we don’t just clean the pool and check for chemicals.
We also power wash the entire pool deck, the slides, and any other extra pool features. We believe that
this separates us from the average pool company. When we are building pools and servicing pools, our
goal is to make a long-lasting product. At the end of the day, we want our customers to enjoy their pool
for decades and share it with their growing families.
Third, when making a plan for our customers, we often package all of our products together in order to
save our customers money. For instance, if a customer were to purchase a pool but also wanted a
fireplace or solar energy panels, we could package all of these items together and give the customer a
considerable discount.
In everything we do, we strive to make our customers happy. We want our customers to trust us to do
quality work at an affordable and reasonable price. Please visit us at 220 Branson Hills Pkwy Branson,

Top Pool Shapes
April 2021
April 2021
When designing a pool, there are many things to consider. How deep should it be? Do you want
a shallow end? If you want to swim laps, how long should it be? What are the best dimensions if
you’re primarily looking for a chill place to spend time in the summer, or if you’re hoping to host
large pool parties?
In one way or another, your answers to these questions will make a difference when you’re
trying to decide on the pool shape you want. On one hand, style and shape are a matter of
preference--a pool is neither better nor worse for being one shape or another. However, a
particular shape may be a better fit with your property and preferences in mind. In this blog, we
hope to provide some information that will help you begin to consider which pool shape would
function well in your space.
Classic Rectangular
As the name implies, a classic rectangular pool is just that: The Standard. Timeless. Doesn’t go
out of style. When talking about the classic rectangular shape, many people highlight how it
gives its surroundings a “sophisticated air.” If your home or space features 45 degree angles
and hard lines, this shape will match perfectly. However, that is not to say that this pool is
reserved for homes of a sophisticated, minimalistic style. At the end of the day, a rectangular
shape is the “one-size-fits-all” of pool shapes. You can’t go wrong with it, aesthetically speaking.
If you’re looking for a conservative choice that will add to the overall elegance of your property,
this is a wonderful option.
L-shaped
A close cousin to the classical rectangular shape is the “L-shaped” pool. Usually this option is
selected for its functionality. For example, if you are hoping to swim laps, a rectangular shape
will do the trick. However, if you have children or wish to go above and beyond as a host, this
shape will allow you to get your exercise while reserving a space for those who wish to play in
the auxiliary section. You can get those laps while your friends or family play! Even apart from
any exercise goals, this is a perfect option for families, because the “L” provides a natural
division between shallow and deep ends.
Freeform
If the former two options provide elegance and functionality to any property, the benefits of
freeform pools run in the opposite direction. Freeform pools work well in an organic setting,
especially suitable for non-traditional homes or asymmetrical spaces. Pools of this style will
match the natural topography of the Ozark Mountains!
Kidney-Shaped
While this shape may still be associated with its hay-day in the 1950’s and 60’s, it continues to
be a popular and functional style. Just as the joint of the L-shaped pool can provide a natural
division between its shallow and deep ends, the indentation of a kidney-shaped pool can do the
same. In addition, if the pool is long and deep enough, it can accommodate lap-swimming.
Aesthetically, this style is perfect for anyone who is looking for an alternative to a traditional
geometric shape or freeform design.
We hope this information will help you begin thinking about which pool shape will fit your space
and goals. Give us a call at 386-795-8046 and we can get the design and installation process

The Process of Building a Custom Pool
June 2021
June 2021
Here at The Fireplace, Pool, Spa, & Solar, we want to give our customers the best product and
experience possible. When creating a custom pool, we tailor our designs and materials to what
YOU want. The process we use to build such a pool is quick and simple – it can be summarized
in 5 easy steps!
1. We visit your property
During this visit, we’ll photograph the location and take measurements. This allows us to
determine what size of pool will comfortably fit on your property.
2. We talk to you about add-ons
Our main goal is to give you the best pool possible. We want to help you customize and
get the exact product you want. For this reason, we’ll talk to you about what shape of
pool you’d like (rectangle, kidney-shaped, etc.). After this, we can add unique water
features, like waterfalls or fountains!
3. We design the pool
After gathering all the necessary details, we then begin designing and planning your
pool. This involves shaping your pool into your backyard.
4. We talk to you about materials
Before we begin building, we talk to you about what materials you would like for the pool
to be made out of – including vinyl, concrete, or gunite. Above all, we want to make sure
that you are comfortable and that our product fits within your budget.
5. We build the pool!
Once we begin digging, the overall process of building a pool takes about 14 business
days . . . depending on weather.
We offer extra services as well!
After building your pool, we can…
… Give you an automatic pool cover! This will keep you from having to regularly
clean the pool and save you time.
… Offer you year-round pool service! We can clean your pool, check the chemicals
in your pool, and fix any leaks that might show up.
If you’re looking to get a new pool installed or even have one taken care of, come visit us at 220
